About

The AMC 8 is one of the largest American math competitions for middle school students! It is a 40-minute test in January, held once per year. If you are interested in mathematics and/or problem solving, consider giving it a shot!

Each week, we'll go over a practice AMC 8 test. Learners should take the practice test before the session, then we will go through problem solving skills on the areas where learners may have been weaker. We will go over topics including Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, and Probability & Counting, along with resources to help learners understand how to self-study.

I'm a high school junior looking to help other students in math! (I'm super passionate about math; I got a 5 on Calc BC last year and a perfect math score on the SAT this year! I'm also on my school's math team and got a 7 on the AIME this year, which was super exciting for me!!) At school, I love participating in robotics (FTC), Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, and math team. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, playing piano, playing chess, cubing, and spending time with my friends. I also love musical theatre!!
