About

In each session, every member recommends one book (each session has different topic of book, like about war, life, honor) they've recently read or are currently reading. Everyone shares a short explanation about their chosen book----what it's about, why they liked it (or don't), and anything
interesting they noticed. Then, we all vote on one of the recommended books to books to read together. Before the next session, members read the chosen book on their own. Next time, we come back and discuss it together----sharing opinions, ideas, favorite parts, and even what we might change if we were the author!

In this 4-session reading club, we’ll explore different kinds of books chosen and discussed by the students themselves. At the start of each session, every member will briefly recommend a book they’ve recently read. After everyone shares, we’ll vote on one book to read before the next meeting.

We’ll also start every session with a quick 5-minute icebreaker to help everyone feel relaxed and connected!

Each week has a different theme to guide our reading and discussions:
• Week 1: War stories — from historical fiction to powerful accounts
• Week 2: Life, goals, and motivation — books that inspire us to grow
• Week 3: Spy or mystery-themed stories
• Week 4: Personal favorites

This club is for anyone who loves reading, wants to discover new ideas, and enjoys meaningful conversations with others. All genres and reading levels are welcome!
