✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

look, this ain't your average scroll-past-it class. if you're signing up for the AP psych: full throttle series, you're committing to showing up with your brain (and maybe a notebook). here's the tea:

- missing more than 2 sessions without a valid excuse? you're out. this course moves fast, and no one’s got time to catch you up every week.

- show up on time – if you're more than 10 minutes late without notice, it counts as a no-show.

- communicate like a grown-up: if you’re gonna miss a session, just let me know in advance. emergencies are real, ghosting is not.

- be present, not just logged in – cameras optional, brains mandatory. don't come just to stare blankly at the screen.

Psychology

Fri 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTCJun 13, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTC

welcome to the kickoff! in this session, we’re cracking open the psych vault with unit 0 — the ogs of psychology. we’re talking about the brainy legends who built this field from scratch: wundt, james, freud, watson, skinner, and more. we'll break down the major approaches to psychology (structuralism vs. functionalism? they had beef).
expect comparisons, debates, and tricks to remember which dead guy said what — because the AP exam loves to test that.

Fri 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTCJun 20, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTC

this session is where we stop vibing and start hypothesizing. we’re diving into the scientific foundations of psych: how experiments are designed, what variables matter, the difference between correlation vs. causation, and how to not get played by a graph. we'll cover operational definitions, ethics, stats basics, and experimental design — the stuff that gets easy points if you actually understand it.

by the end, you’ll be throwing around terms like “double-blind study” and “p-value” like a boss. bring your brain. and maybe a calculator.

Psychology

Fri 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTCJun 27, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM UTC

today we’re throwing the psych lens on everything — behavior, thoughts, drama, and your caffeine addiction. we’ll explore the 7 major psychological perspectives:
biological, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, psychodynamic, sociocultural, and evolutionary.

you’ll learn how each one explains behavior differently — like how freud would blame your childhood, but skinner would blame your rewards. we’ll decode case studies, match theories to real-life examples, and build a comparison chart that’ll save your score later.

by the end, you’ll flex perspective analysis like a psych queen (or king)
