I'm Akash, your math "drill sergeant" instructor, and we'll be doing a summarized Pre-Algebra camp over winter break. Join me for this math-tastic experience!

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺
We will be following the CK-12 Flexbook curriculum of Prealgebra and each learner will gain access to a personalized math practice portal. Learners will also utilize the Openstax Prealgebra 2e textbook in their studies, and Ck-12 and Openstax will be used interchangeably.
𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀
We will be using the lessons inside CK-12.
𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
The course will have asynchronous (on-your-own) assignments. The sessions are where everyone can work together on their assignments. I will provide assistance in sessions. I will give lectures most of the time. I encourage attendance for those who watched the videos and still do not understand. The orientation is mandatory, and so are check-ins. Check-ins may occur if the majority of the class is falling behind. Don't worry if you miss a session though, as one check-in/orientation absence is excused! Just let me know ahead of time.
