About

Hi, my name is Sophia, and I'm excited to help you prepare for the math portion of the SAT! This is my fourth SAT bootcamp and I am a tutor in AP Statistics and AP Precalculus as well.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi! I'm a rising freshman at WVU studying exercise physiology with the goal of going to med school. I have been an SAT math tutor through Schoolhouse since January 2025, and I enjoy helping learners score high and achieve their goals on the SAT by utilizing active learning strategies and encouraging learner engagement. In my free time, I enjoy training for half marathons, shopping, and watching Dance Moms!

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
