About

Each week we'll tackle influential speeches, poems, and stories; and in some other weeks, we'll be focusing on creating your poem/essay. My explicit goal is to help you think like an AP reader/writer; you'll be able to rhetorically analyze pieces and write coherently.

Hello! I'm an online high schooler who aspires to be an architect and author! During my free time, I enjoy designing homes on an online software game, or reading books! I'm fond of many genres of books, but my all-time favorite is "White Nights" by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Due to books, I've been able to live thousands of lives, and these aren't just mere escapes from reality; it's an addition to life.

This Wednesday, we'll be focusing on how to curate an argumentative essay! We will learn fallacious devices that we have to avoid when providing an argument and know how to structure the essay.

This Sunday, we'll be analyzing Shakespeare's piece "To be or not to be." A lot of Shakespeare's pieces are included in AP Literature Exams, so we'll learn to break them down and understand them, even though he uses archaic English.
