Course Description:
We’ll go over different body systems part of vertebrate and invertebrate anatomy, with a focus on humans! We'll go over topics like the skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, and integumentary systems. You’ll learn how these systems work together to keep us alive and functioning.

IMMUNE SYSTEM
We’ll go over the immune system, examining how the body defends itself against pathogens through innate and adaptive immunity. Topics will include physical and chemical barriers, the role of white blood cells, inflammation, antigen recognition, and how vaccines and immune memory work. We’ll also discuss disorders like autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiencies.
