About

Welcome to the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder book club! 🎗🖤

17-year-old girl Pippa Fitz-Amobi, known as Pip, who selects a kidnap-and-murder case that was closed five years ago as her research for Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The victim is Andie Bell who was also 17 years old, and her boyfriend, Salil Singh, who commits suicide two days after Andie went missing, with a message that it was he who had kidnapped and murdered Andie Bell. Though the police discover Andie’s car with traces of blood in the trunk, her body is never found. Pip believes that Salil has not committed the offense, since he had always been nice to her, and she wants to free him and his family of the charges. She joins hand with Ravi Singh, Salil’s brother, and together they strive to uncover the truth. As they delve deeper, they realize that, in a small town riddled with secrets and crimes, one never knows the truth until they seek it.

We will read 2 chapters of the book every session! Then, we will do the following:

- Discuss the characters' actions 🗣️
- Share our thoughts on what we would have done if we were the book 💬
- Predict what might happen next in the story 🗣️
- And more! 📚📖📝

We look forward to seeing you in our next session! 🤗

Hello 👋 My name is Sreshta, and I am a high school freshman in Michigan(Go Wolverines💛💙) I plan on using SHW to tutor others and be tutored. I currently tutor in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, R/W Subworld, and Enrichment. I plan on tutoring Algebra 2 in the future :)! Let's see if we have similar interests: - Karate 🥋: I have been practicing karate since a very young age, and I am close to earning my black belt! - Swimming 🏊‍♀️: I swim for my school team and love all the strokes except for breaststroke; it’s so annoying! 😭😭 - Tennis 🎾 and Badminton 🏸: I've been playing badminton and tennis for a long time, and it’s so much fun! 😁😁😁 - Books 📚: I enjoy every genre of books, from dystopian and historical fiction to horror and everything in between! - Art 🎨: I love art; it’s both enjoyable and relaxing. Painting is my favorite because it’s so much fun to bring sketches to life! - Math ♾️: I used to dislike math, but once I got to algebra, I started enjoying it! - Astronomy 🔭: Whenever I’m bored, I can always count on exoplanets, comets, black holes, and neutron stars! 😁 Despite my interests, I'm a big extrovert, so feel free to DM anytime for anything 😊
