This College Admissions Workshop on The Essay is a virtual 4-week workshop designed to  provide you with structure and support to write your college essays this summer.

In this workshop, you will:
Learn the purpose and the must-dos of the personal statement 
Learn and practice strategies for picking a prompt, brainstorming, drafting, and revising your writing
Understand the role of supplemental questions and strategies for organizing your questions and responses
Work alongside other students who are also preparing to apply to college.

I'm Tristan, and I'm a high schooler from Florida aiming to help in Reading and Writing. I'm joining Schoolhouse because I know that there were things that I found difficult on the SAT, and I want to help others be more prepared than I was when I took the test. I'm hoping that my contributions will be valuable to others, even if it's only one person. Some of my hobbies are dancing to K-Pop songs, raving about my favorite TV shows, and reading.

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.
