About

Hello there! So, the SAT is coming up soon, but not to fear! I'm Melisa, and I'm very excited to help out in preparation for the SAT! I am currently a dual-enrolled junior in high school trying to obtain my Associate of Arts degree by the end of my senior year. Outside of school, I love going on picnics and walks, cooking, reading, and participating in some of my extracurriculars. Over the next few weeks, I hope to get to know everyone better, in addition to helping others suit up to conquer the SAT Math section! With some practice, positive support, and pizzaz, I'm confident that by the end of this session, we will be prepared to take on any math question in the SAT that comes our way. ✨

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hello everyone! My name is Melisa, and I am a dual-enrolled junior who loves to talk about chemistry, world history, biology, and algebra, but is also looking forward to helping with SAT prep. I was born in Delaware, grew up in Florida, and am a Turkish-American! I really enjoy going on picnics and walks, cooking, and volunteering at a fabrication lab where others and I get to teach elementary and middle schoolers about a variety of topics relating to STEAM.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
