About

Hi! My name is Hope and I am so excited to be your SAT tutor. It can be nerve-racking preparing for your SAT, but I will be here to help you so feel as prepared as possible for exam day.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hi, my name is Hope and I'm a junior in high school. I am interested in politics and I have worked on various local campaigns. I hope to become a lawyer and pursue anti-trust law. I am also a pre- professional ballet dancer and music lover. I love writing and literature; however, I enjoy tutoring English and math. I look forward to helping students increase their SAT scores and getting past test anxiety.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.
