About

Hi, my name is Ruchita, and I’m excited to help you prepare for the SAT!
﻿
Over the next four weeks, we’ll focus on the math section of the SAT, working through real SAT problems and multiple practice tests to help build confidence and improve your score. You’ll be learning in a small, interactive group, where you’ll get the chance to collaborate with other students who are also preparing for the exam.
﻿
Since this is an interactive course, I encourage you to keep your camera on to make the sessions more engaging! However, if that’s not possible, I’d still love for you to participate actively in discussions and problem-solving. The more you engage, the more you’ll get out of these lessons!

Hi guys! I'm a high school sophomore from Florida and I hope to help with SAT prep as well as other math and science topics. In my free time I like scrapbooking, crafting, and playing the violin.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Geometry & Trigonometry Domain.
