About

Hi, my name is Lexa, and I'm excited to share what I know and help you prepare for the SAT!
﻿
This four-week series is designed to help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end, you'll have completed multiple practice tests and worked through numerous questions from previous SATS, to help you build knowledge and confidence for your upcoming exam. Each session will be spent with me and a small group of others also preparing for the SAT, so the experience will be interactive and personalized to help you achieve your desired SAT score!

I’m a high school student from New York who loves to write, watch anime and movies. I’m hoping this will help me prep for my upcoming SAT and ACT, while also helping others with topics they may struggle with.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.
