About

Hello! I’m Addi, and I’m excited to guide you on this journey through the world of biology. With a passion for science and a love for teaching, I strive to make learning fun, engaging, and relevant to your everyday life. I believe in creating an interactive classroom environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore new concepts, and experiment with their ideas. My goal is to inspire students to develop a deep curiosity about the natural world and to think critically about the science that shapes our lives.

With a background in competive science fair, medical club, high school biology, and debate, I bring both a deep understanding of biological sciences and a commitment to making complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for young learners. Let’s dive into the amazing world of biology together, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!

Welcome to Biology 101! This course is designed to introduce basic middle and high school students to the fascinating world of life science. Over the course of six engaging sessions, we will explore the basic and deep principles of biology, focusing on understanding the structures and functions of cells, the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration, the fundamentals of genetics and heredity, and the intricate relationships within ecosystems by going over the Khan Academy layout. Throughout the course, learners will engage in hands-on activities, interactive discussions, and virtual experiments to deepen their understanding of how living organisms function and interact with their environments! I am always open to questions and my goal is that learners will thrive through asking questions

If learners, have a specific topic they are more fascinated in and want to learn more about, I will be happy to spend more time on that topic. My goal is that the learners will enjoy the class while finding something they are passionate about

By the end of the course, my goal is for learners will have a solid foundation in key biological concepts and will be able to apply scientific thinking and inquiry to observe, experiment, and analyze the living world around them. This course aims to spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and encourage a lifelong appreciation for the wonders of biology.
