About
This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended.
Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

About the Tutor
I'm a high school student from Maryland and I'm here to help tutor peers for the SAT. I joined Schoolhouse because I have experience teaching & mentoring others in various fields, I have actually tutored for the SAT before, and I would love to share what I have learned over the years with future SAT takers. I have taught classes such as python programming and geography to middle & high schoolers. I am part of my school's National Math Honors Society. I am also a Chapter Leader for the DMV region & volunteer for GCL (Girls Computing League) which aims to reduce the gap in STEM opportunities by promoting awareness and access to STEM events & education for minority & underprivileged students. I am currently an intern at NCI (National Cancer Institute) /NIH (National Institutes of Health) and I conduct ultrastructure analysis to identify structures of cilia & generate 2D/3D models for publications. I am planning on majoring in Computer Engineering and I have learned Python, Java, AI, machine learning & robotics. I coached FLL (FIRST Lego League) & FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge. I also competed in FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition), FTC (state level), Science Olympiad (state level runner-up), & Academic Bee (1st Place). Some of my other extracurriculars include dance & tennis. I have given several on-stage solo and group dance performances including a performance at an Embassy in DC. I also really enjoy teaching & mentoring kids, especially in math, computer science, & geography.
