About

Course Description:
We’ll go over different body systems part of vertebrate and invertebrate anatomy, with a focus on humans! We'll go over topics like the skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, and digestive systems. You’ll learn how these systems work together to keep us alive and functioning.

Join for a unique experience to learn about how OUR body works! 🧠🔬🧬

My expertise:
- Perfect 5 on the AP Biology Exam
- Scored in the top 10% in USA Biology Olympiad
- Tutored many people in biology and enthusiastic to learn more!

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
  • We’ll go over the digestive system, exploring how the body breaks down food to absorb nutrients and eliminate waste. Topics will include the structure and function of the digestive organs, the roles of enzymes and hormones in digestion, and the processes of nutrient absorption. We’ll also discuss the regulation of digestion, the gut microbiome, and common digestive disorders.

We will complete the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM and start the circulatory system if we have time! :)

CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
We’ll go over the circulatory system, exploring how the heart, blood vessels, and blood work together to transport oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and waste throughout the body. We’ll also discuss the differences between open and closed circulatory systems, the structure of arteries and veins, and how the body regulates blood pressure and circulation.
