About

Do you love reading poetry? Have you ever wanted to write one yourself? Are you interested in learning more about improving your writing skills or exploring different forms of poetry, like haiku, sestinas, or limericks? If your answer to any of these questions was yes, or even a maybe, you're in the right place.

In each session, we'll start by going over a form of poetry, with an overview and examples, and then spend individual time attempting to write a poem of that form.  Everyone will get a chance to share all the poems that they've written. We'll spend the rest of the time writing more poems, with any style you want, with a chance to ask any questions or receive feedback on your poems. 
﻿
Attendance is never mandatory, drop in whenever you'd like. This is more of a study hall type of series. Background music is up for recommendations, as long as it's all appropriate, feel free to DM me with your favorite songs.` We'll meet once or twice a week.
