✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

1. Be Prepared

Have a clear plan for what you’ll cover (e.g., solving equations, graphing functions).

Bring example problems and practice questions to guide the session.

2. Encourage Engagement

Ask students to participate by solving problems or answering questions.

Create a welcoming space where students feel comfortable asking for help. 3. Stay On-Topic & Structured Stick to Algebra 1 topics—avoid jumping into more advanced math unless relevant. If students bring up off-topic questions, gently steer them back to the session focus. 4. Be Respectful & Supportive Maintain a positive attitude and encourage students, even if they struggle. Avoid judgment—every student learns at their own pace. 5. Follow Schoolhouse Policies No off-topic chatting or inappropriate behavior. Ensure that learning is happening (no farming hours or inactive sessions).
