About

Hi, my name is Evan, and I’m really excited to help you prepare for the SAT! I’ve been working on my own SAT preparation, so I understand the challenges and strategies that can help you succeed. Alongside my academic experiences, I’ve developed techniques for effective study habits and problem-solving, and I’m eager to share them with you.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you’ll have completed multiple practice tests and worked through problems from previous SATs, building confidence for test day. Each session will be held with me and a small group of learners who are also working towards improving their SAT scores. Since the group will be small, you can expect an interactive and collaborative environment where we work together to tackle SAT challenges and strengthen your skills.

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all engage and get to know one another! If you have a specific reason for keeping your camera off, just let me know ahead of time.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Geometry & Trigonometry Domain.
