About

Greetings! My name is Azamkhon, though I prefer you call me Aurelius. I’m thrilled to guide you through the Reading & Writing section of the SAT in this focused four-week tutoring series. With a personal SAT Reading & Writing score of 730, I aim to share effective strategies, insights, and techniques to help you excel in this section.

This four-week tutoring series is designed to help you prepare for the upcoming SAT by completing multiple practice tests and tackling problems from previous SATs. By the end of the series, you'll be more confident in your skills. Each session will be interactive, as you'll work alongside a small group of learners who share the same goal of improving their SAT performance.

Note: Please ensure your camera is on so we can all get to know each other! If there is a specific reason you cannot turn your camera on, kindly inform me ahead of time.

Greetings! I’m an 12th grader passionate about learning, teaching, and exploring big questions through literature, philosophy, and education. Joining Schoolhouse.world as a peer tutor is an exciting opportunity to support students preparing for the SAT while continuing to learn and grow myself. Having scored above the 90th percentile in my SAT sections, I’m eager to share my knowledge and help others achieve their goals. I’m inspired by thinkers like Dostoevsky, Camus, and Viktor Frankl, whose works have shaped my understanding of resilience, meaning, and the human experience. Their ideas motivate me to approach challenges with curiosity and empathy—qualities I hope to bring to my tutoring. As a learner myself, I believe teaching is one of the best ways to deepen knowledge and discover new perspectives. My experiences in debate, mental health advocacy, and working in a family-run grocery store have taught me the value of communication, collaboration, and persistence. These skills will help me create a supportive environment for my students as we tackle the SAT together. I’m excited to join this incredible community of learners and teachers, and I look forward to growing alongside my students as we work toward their success!

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
