This six-week series is perfect for our narrative writers of all levels, whether aspiring or professional. 
﻿
Through the power of the Narrative Arc, we'll learn how we can shape stories to give the reader choice. And for what could be the first time ever, we'll have the option to use the second perspective in our writing.
﻿
Make sure to come prepared with access to Google services such as Google Docs and Google Slides, as well as access to Schoolhouse Assessments (built in). That's all you need!

This series serves as the first part to the Creative Writing Sequence I will be hosting. There will be two possible paths, and several available courses.
﻿
Please request make-up sessions through this form at least 24-hours in advance. Sessions will be hosted with 1 or more learners, so request as needed.

Note: This series will be fast paced. My availability is really limited, so in order to finish within the ten week margin, if I am unable to host both days, or you are forced to miss both weekly sessions, slides and a review activity will be made available in the assessments folder for your convenience! 🙂

Extra Note: If you've already completed the series, I recommend that you still register again. The main group will be going further than the last times this has been hosted, and there will be both extra enrichment opportunities, and the chance to "teach the group."

Hello everyone! My name is Amanda, and I am a sophomore student from Virginia, attending boarding school in another state. I specialize in essay writing here on Schoolhouse, as well as the development of creative narratives. Beyond reading and writing, I'm a creative writer, and I've won a Scholastic Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention. I was also an editor for my former school's literary magazine, receiving 2nd place at a state wide competition for my individual work, and highest honors as a school. I currently write for my school newspaper and literary magazine, and run a book review column on the newspaper. I'm a cross country skier, and also participate on my school's Debate Team.
