About

Hello! My name is Samaira, and I'm super excited to help you prepare for the March SAT! This will be my second year tutoring for the reading and writing section. I'm excited to get to know you!

This four-week personalized tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing through individualized instruction. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, with focused attention on your specific areas for improvement. Each session is dedicated entirely to your learning needs, allowing us to target the exact concepts and question types that challenge you most. You can expect sessions to be very interactive and tailored to your unique learning style and pace.

I'm a high school junior from Katy, Texas, interested in helping fellow students with SAT prep. I love playing my violin, writing, and watching history videos in my free time. Hi everyone! My name is Samaira (you can also call me Sami), and I'm a high school senior from Katy, Texas. My hobbies are learning pop songs on the piano, playing the violin, writing, learning about quirky historical events, and reading books (particularly books based on ancient mythologies). I took the SAT last year and hope to share the resources and tips that helped me with others on this platform! I would say my strongest subjects are chemistry, world/US history, and writing. These are also the subjects that I've enjoyed the most throughout high school--fascinating subjects that I'd love to share with everyone. To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
