Explaining the anatomy of theatre, dramas, and anything Shakespearean! This session will help learners understand how plays work, and concepts relating to them. Explaining stage directions, soliloquy, Shakespearean language, and many other concepts to be applied to a variety of different plays. (I recommend understanding the basic plot of at least one of the following: Romeo & Juliet or Antigone. If you don't know either, make sure you share a play I can use for examples when signing up for the session!)

This week will be one of my favorite types of Literature: Poetry! Explaining concepts like enjambment, basic poetry analysis, understanding sonnets and villanelles, etc. I recommend reading Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night (Dylan Thomas) and The Road Not Taken (Robert Frost.) If both of those are unfamiliar, please reach out with another popular poem we can work on applying concepts to!
