About

Hi! I'm Jude and I'm excited to study the Reading and Writing section of the SAT with you! I've studied by myself for months and I'm thrilled to be joined with all of you.
﻿
This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I’m a high school student from New Jersey looking to study and improve my college application and help others along the way! I’m a tutor with a love for helping people crush their academic goals. When I’m not studying for school, you’ll probably find me on the court: I'm competitive in my school's sports like running, lifting, and basketball. Outside of that, I’m all about enjoying the little things, from catching up on my favorite movies to hanging out with friends and staying in the loop with everything teen life throws my way. I know what it’s like to juggle school, hobbies, and just living, so I try make learning less stressful and more rewarding. Let’s improve together!

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.
