About

Hey everyone! Thank you for checking out my bootcamp series. I'm Faith from the U.S. Here's a little bit about me...

For almost my entire life, I've had a passion for academics and helping my fellow students. I also have previous experience with Peer-to-Peer tutoring at my high school. When it came to studying for the SAT (which I took in junior year; May of 2024), I meticulously dedicated my time to understanding the wording and processes of solving different test questions. Speaking of, a little bit of a fun fact is that my rotation of SATs (those who took the test in May 2024) was the first round of students who were exposed to the digital SAT format.

What does this mean? It means that I was tackling unknown territory. And luckily, my studying system worked! I ended up retaking the original May SAT after a few months, where my score then increased by 180 points. It's about the mindset and understanding more than memorization! I'm so excited to start this journey with you guys! 😄

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hey everyone! I'm currently a high school senior from Michigan looking to be an SAT tutor! All of last year (and most of the year before...) I dedicated hours upon hours studying for my SAT. I'm now taking Calculus at the college level, so I've expanded my math-based knowledge since my final SAT test (no need to worry about me forgetting how to do specific topics from the SAT!). A little more about me: I love reading (romance, poetry), playing video games (Val, Rivals, etc), spending time with my family, hiking in the woods, anything/everything computer science and last but not least, helping my fellow students!

What you'll do

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.
