Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

I will give students a visual representation of derivatives (what it looks like graphically) and will teach the Definition of the Derivative. I will go over a wide variety of examples using the Definition of the Derivative. Specifically, I will apply it to problems involving linear, polynomial, square root, and rational equations.
