As someone who did just that and improved from a 600 on the PSAT to consistently scoring above 780, I detailed this plan which follows the basis on how I improved my score. This series is designed to guide you step-by-step toward mastering SAT Math, regardless of your starting point! Each week, we’ll focus on actionable strategies to help you grow from your current score to the next level:

Week 1: Building Strong Foundations
This week we will go over essential concepts and techniques to solidify your basics, perfect for those scoring in the 600s or looking to strengthen their math fundamentals.

Week 2: Breaking into the 700s
Master the skills and test-taking strategies needed to push past the 680 range and consistently achieve scores in the 700s.

Week 3: Reaching for 750+
Focus on refining advanced problem-solving techniques to improve your low 700s score and aim for a 750 or higher.

Week 4: Achieving 780+
Fine-tune your techniques to exceed at the highest level; for those of you aiming for a score near perfection!

This session focuses on mastering SAT math basics to strengthen your foundations needed to improve your score. We’ll review key concepts like fractions, percentages/proportions, linear equations, and basic geometry, followed by guided practice using easy to medium level SAT questions. You’ll learn problem-solving techniques, time management strategies, and tips for tackling simpler problems with confidence and finesse. Even though you may think you know these topics well, it’s important to continuously practice and perfect the basics especially in terms of speed so you have more time for the harder questions!

This session is all about moving beyond the basics to tackle medium-level SAT math questions! This is where you’d be consistently going into the harder adaptive module, but struggling with accuracy in comparison to module 1. We’ll focus on strategies to improve accuracy, speed, and time management, helping you push past the 680 mark and entering into the 700 range. In In this session we will be reviewing essential techniques from College Panda and Khan Academy, and learning how to approach timed sections effectively.
