About

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi! I'm a highschooler from Chicago and here to help with SAT prep, math and physics. I have extensive background in STEM so feel free to ask me about any APs or other classes. Outside of tutoring, some of my favorite activities are creative writing, watching movies with my friends and taking afternoon naps.

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will review Standard English Conventions and Grammar in the writing section. After, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you’d like to go over alongside discussing additional resources for practice.

We’ll begin by reviewing Expressions of Ideas on the writing sections. After, we will finish the practice exam from the first session and we will review any questions you have. We will wrap the session up with targeted writing practice.

We’ll start the session by reviewing strategies for a focus passage type (based on the results of the previous practice exams). Afterwards, we will begin the a reading practice exam and review any questions you have.
