Hi, my name is Shourya, and I am excited to tutor SAT reading/writing with you! Let's make this happen together! 😀

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi, my name is Shourya and I am very excited to tutor here!! I am in the IB Program, Grade 10. I have taken PSAT 10/NMSQT (1520) and the SAT, with a score of 1570 as a freshman -- 790 R&W and 780 Math. I took it again as a sophomore and now have a superscore of 1590 (790 R&W + 800 Math). I am here to help others score very well on their SATs! I have competed in different math competitions (AMC 8, AMC 10, AIME, MOEMS, KSEA NMSC, CIE MathComp/MathFun, RSM IMC). Other than that, I help TA/tutor math for various programs. I also have competed in Academic Decathlon and won numerous 1st place awards at the District, Regional, and State levels. I really like to do math!! I also play the piano, and enjoy playing chess, hiking, and learning more French. I want to help others learn more and also learn new things myself. 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦!

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
