About

My name is Benji and I'm in 12th grade. I've tutored multiple SAT Math Bootcamps and I'm excited to be tutoring again. I'll cover everything you need to know for the Math section of the SAT to make sure you're completely prepared. I also aim to promote an active learning experience in which my students won't simply memorize how to do a problem but learn how to apply the concepts from one problem to another. This is extremely important for the real test and I can't wait to help you guys improve your math skills and, as a result, your scores!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I am currently a high school junior. My favorite subject in school is math, as I am currently taking a college calculus course and am thoroughly enjoying it. In this course, I have discovered that it is my passion to help others learn the same way I did. I truly love giving help to those who struggle and enabling them to accomplish their academic goals. Outside of school, my passions include physical fitness, video games, and sports such as track and field. I am very excited to help out!

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.
