About

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello everyone! I'm Parin (he/him) and I'm a senior from Michigan. I like programming, history, politics, geography. I am captivated by giving the learning experience my tutors gave me when I was learning how to prepare for the SAT, and therefore I would like to pass that teaching style to those younger than me and who want to learn, regardless of subject.

What you'll do

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we’ll take a practice exam (no calculator section). Afterwards, we will review the exam and work through any questions you’d like to go over.
