About

My name is Benji, and I will soon be heading into my senior year of high school. I'm excited to be tutoring the math section of the SAT, and I will cover everything mathematical concept you need to know for the test. I will do my very best to make sure that you are entirely prepared for your test in August and that you score well on the math section. I believe that the best way to learn math is to solve a problem yourself with feedback and guidance. Rather than simply watching others solve a problem, I will promote an active learning experience in which students will learn how to solve math problems themselves - which is extremely important for the real test. I can't wait to help you guys improve your math skills and, as a result, your scores!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I am currently a high school junior. My favorite subject in school is math, as I am currently taking a college calculus course and am thoroughly enjoying it. In this course, I have discovered that it is my passion to help others learn the same way I did. I truly love giving help to those who struggle and enabling them to accomplish their academic goals. Outside of school, my passions include physical fitness, video games, and sports such as track and field. I am very excited to help out!

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.
