About
Vector is an extremely important mathematical tool and has great importance in physics. To effectively study physics, you must know vectors. This course will cover vectors from the start with an emphasis on their physical applications.
Many physical quantities like displacement, velocity, force, momentum etc. are vector quantities. After learning vectors, you will be able to work with all of these with ease.
We will cover all the important concepts with ample practice problems to have a sound understanding of vectors.

Wed 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM UTCJul 27, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM UTC
We will study what are scalars and vectors and why vectors are needed. We will study the geometrical representation of vectors. We will also study vector addition/subtraction and scaling of vectors with scalars. We will end with some practice problems.

Thu 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM UTCJul 28, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM UTC
We will study the concept of unit vectors. We will study one more way of representing vectors with the help of unit vectors, and discuss addition/subtraction as well as scaling in this new representation. We will study the notion of a zero vector. We will end with a discussion on resolving vectors into components, and some practice problems.
