About

Hi my name is Elijah and I would be pleased to have you join my SAT bootcamp. Having received an 800 in math and previously hosting a bootcamp, I am more than qualified to help you with your goal of a higher score. Some things about my teaching style- I like to push my learners to think for themselves and try harder problems as well as collaborate in groups.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello, my name is Elijah, and I'm passionate about giving back to my community by offering SAT tutoring. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity for a bright future, and smart preparation is key to achieving it. As for myself, I find joy in playing soccer (my favorite team is Barcelona) and expressing myself through playing the violin. Also, I am currently enrolled in AP Physics 2 and AP Pre-Calculus and can help with those taking AP Physics 1 or any Algebra class. With my tutoring, I aim to help you improve your test scores and reach your academic goals.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Geometry & Trigonometry Domain.
