About

Hello all! My name is Tristan and I have tutored 5 SAT bootcamps in the past. Just like you all, I will be taking the August SAT as well to improve my R/W score. But rest assured, I am confident and ready to help you with math (not R/W), and am ready to adjust my sessions to accommodate your needs. Let's work together to improve your math score!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello! I'm Tristan, a high schooler from California, who loves teaching. I mainly focus on tutoring SAT bootcamps on Schoolhouse, but have now branched out to other subworlds as well. I enjoy music, as I play the piano (and violin and bass terribly). I also love running and video games (mainly fps and card games). If you need any math help besides with calculus, feel free to reach out.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.
