Series Details

About

Each session, which will happen biweekly, we will go over around 5 Messier Catalogue(chosen because you can sometimes see them with the naked eye or a good pair of binoculars) objects, and I will introduce their history, any peculiarity about them, and then talk about finding them in the night sky. If we have time, I might even present some of my homegrown photos!

Tutor Qualifications

I created my own Dobsonian telescope as part of a school workshop once, and ever since then, I have been on a mission to discover the Messier Catalogue for myself. I now would like to share this gnosis with you, so please do come along for the ride!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

This session will go in series through the Messier Catalogue, so you may either stay with me for all 110 of them, or just drop in to the session that has your favourite object in it. If you've chosen the first option, and miss 3 sessions in a row, I will have to mark you as non-attending.
