About

Hello! I am Eunsang. You can also call me Rachel. This series will be about mechanical physics: algebra-based (AP Physics 1). and the topics will flow in this order: - one-dimensional motion - two-dimensional motion - forces and Newton's laws of motion - uniform circular motion and gravitation - work and energy - linear momentum and collisions The session will be slow-paced for those learning physics for the first time. During the session, we will be doing virtual labs, textbook questions, and previous AP test questions. The used slides will be given after the session, so there is no need to take screenshots. If there is a fill-in note, I suggest that you print the homework out before the session or use the computer to write notes on them during the session. It will be provided beforehand in the group chat. Participation matters a lot in these sessions. There is no need to turn on the camera or mic. However, please try to solve the problems and ask questions if you are stuck. If you are shy, you can use the private chat to check your answers or ask questions ;). I will be calling out your names to ask what you have gotten for the answers and how you solved it. If you want to review a certain topic because you are confused or just want to practice, you can message me and request a catch-up session after joining the office hour. (Please give me at least 24 hours to reply.) Don't forget to send me your availability of time and hours. The starting time of each session will be the same (at most two hours per session and 30 minute break in between if there are two per day), and each topic will be introduced every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (except 8/11 & 8/13), *The office-hour session closes in 15 minutes if no one shows up* I hope to see you there!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You will be withdrawn if you have 4 or more unexcused absences in a row. If you know that you cannot attend the session, please let me know at least 30 minutes before the session. If you want, you can request for the catch-up session after the planned session ends.

About the Tutor

Hello, I am Eunsang, a high school senior in California. You can also call me Rachel. I love tutoring and helping out people who want to learn. Right now, I am able to host sessions in math up to AP Calculus BC. I can also help with physics concepts included in AP Physics 1 and C Mechanics. Many of the sessions will be based on solving problems because I personally believe in the power of practice. Though I cannot teach grammar and high-level words in Korean, I can help with practicing small talks and daily conversations. In my free time, I like to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, and articles. I also like to crochet and bake cakes. I look forward to see you in one of my sessions!
