About

Hey guys, wanna get ahead of the curve? Wanna catch-up or reinforce your skills? I'm hosting this series because I really enjoyed my Algebra 2 and Trigonometry series in the past and because of popular demand. In this series we'll cover: -Polynomials (polynomial arithmetic, factoring, remainder and factor theorem, solving equations, features of graphs) -Vectors -Complex Numbers and Equations -Rational Functions -Exponents/Logarithms (Arithmetic, Algebra, and Graphs) -Function Transformations -Types of triangles, - General Triangle Properties -Circumcenter, Centroid, Altitudes, and Medians -Triangular Pyramids and Prisms (and their brain bending properties :) -Right Triangle Trigonometry (SOHCAHTOA, Complementary Angles, Reciprocal Trigonometric Ratios, etc.) -Unit Circle and Trigonometric Identities/Values -Radians and Degrees -Trigonometric Functions -Inverse Trigonometric Functions -Sinusoidal Graphs/Equations -Other Trigonometric Identities

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Catch-up sessions are always available. Notes will also be posted.

About the Tutor

Hey, my name's Jose, and I'm currently a senior. I'm about the biggest Indie music fan there is, I love 80s movies (John Hughes goat), and reading in my spare time. I enjoy math because it allows me to express myself artistically, and tutor for the mere sake of those aha moments. I've gotten 5s on AP Spanish Lit and AP English Lang, and I've taken Multivariable Calc and Linear Algebra (which I hope to tutor soon!) I'm currently taking AP Physics C and Real Analysis.

Session 4

Complex numbers

Hey guys, these two sessions will be on Vectors, but I put it as about Complex Numbers because their relation will lay the foundations for our understanding of Complex Numbers. - What is a Vector? Vector quantities vs Scalar quantities -Finding the x and y component of a vector, adding and subtracting vectors together (the parallelogram rule -The argument and modulus of a vector, what they are and how to derive them -Some more advanced problems on vectors from Khan Academy
