This is more of a fun series: we'll be discussing the evolution of Kpop! From 1st to 4th generation, we'll talk about the biggest groups, their hits, and the scandals that defined the era. Join us to listen to some hit tracks and explore the idol industry!

In this session, we'll be talking about 2nd generation Kpop. We'll discuss how the genre began to expand out of Korea and what spurred that popularity. We'll also listen to some songs, watch some music videos, and look at some stages and award show moments.

This session will be all about 3rd gen Kpop. Here, we'll introduce groups like BTS and explore the continued popularity of Kpop, specifically in America. In this lesson, we'll dive more into scandals and the darker side of the industry as well.

Other

This is the final session, and here we'll cover 4th gen Kpop. We're currently in the 4th generation era, so we'll explore some presently popular groups and discuss the future of Kpop and what might arise with the eventual 5th generation.
