About

Hey, I'm Melody from California, and this is my third time leading a bootcamp on the SAT English section! I boosted my own R&W score by 110 points from the PSAT, in part from my practice with these bootcamps, and I hope I can help you improve too. :D

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi, I'm Melody, a first-year college student studying in Washington, D.C.! When I'm not mourning the loss of my far-superior San Diego Zoo (or, you know, studying), I'm trying new escape rooms, putting up more fairy lights, and making Oreo milkshakes :D I mostly do live help sessions in algebra and geometry right now, but I'm also up to help you analyze pieces for English Lit & Lang or review SAT concepts (English or math). You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
