About

Hi, my name is Debangshu, and I just took the SAT in March. I also took the PSAT this last October, and as a result you can be assured that I will try to provide you with the best reading and writing advice possible for the digital SAT. It was tough for me to study for the digital SAT as my graduating class was the first in the US to witness the shift, but I hope I can make it easier for you guys by using my experience to help you boost your skills. I have gone through Khan Academy's Reading and Writing in depth.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

Hi, my name is Debangshu, and I really like solving 3x3 Rubik's cubes and playing chess in my free time. I also like helping people to the best of my ability, and I am a huge fan of thriller films because of the tiny details they display. I think that any test is a thriller: they change subtle wording throughout any test in an effort to confuse you. This is just like how the villain leaves behind certain details that change ideas (and as a result change subsequent events) . Even I still get confused with this tricky wording whenever I start taking a new class. However, I have watched enough thriller movies (and taken enough practice exams) to be able to predict what will happen next and to know what to do and when. I hope to teach you guys these tips and tricks effectively.
