About

𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤-𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 : 𝙃𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝! 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: This series is intended for middle and high school students who want to expose themselves to competitive speech and debate. Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety before talking/presenting to a large group of people? Would you like to learn more about speech and debate and/or mock trial? If so, this series is definitely for you!! 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: These sessions will help learners develop public speaking skills, critical thinking, and argumentation. In order to accomplish this, learners will learn how to research current events, write short speeches, and debate fun and simple topics (Friends vs The Office? Cats or Dogs? Should Homework be Banned? etc…) Learning public speaking and communication can help improve your writing and listening skills as well as building confidence when talking to others! 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹: Learning communication can happen at any age! It’s never too early or too late to start. Feel free to join these sessions if you don’t have any experience at all! We will all learn, practice, and grow together. 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: These sessions will be fun, interactive and enjoyable. We will be debating funny topics and most of our meetups will consist of team-building activities that are aimed towards boosting creative-thinking and communication skills. After this series our goal is that you’ll be able to feel more confident in giving speeches, presentations or other public speaking activities.
