About

In this series, I will go through each section of the ACT in as much detail as possible and provide tips and tricks for answering the different kinds of questions on the test. We'll also go through multiple practice questions and try to take one full practice test on our own time. Based on your needs, we may spend more time on certain sections than others. I'd like to structure this so that we don't move on from a section until it has been fully covered. Since I'll adapt the curriculum as I go, I will add sessions as I go. All sessions will be on Saturday nights at 5:00 CST and unless I get a cohost to run it longer, the series will run through April with maybe a few scattered throughout the summer if y'all want. Since the best way to learn is through active engagement, webcams should be on and mics should be operational if I ask you to help with a question. If for some reason you can't have your webcam on, make sure to notify me ahead of time.

Tutor Qualifications

I've taken the ACT twice and scored a 35 when I took it this past summer. I'm really excited to answer any questions you have and hopefully help you raise your score!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Since we will go through one section at a time, if you already feel confident with that section of the ACT, you do not have to attend that session. Let me know if you will be missing the session though so I know why you aren't present. If you miss more than two sessions without explanation, I will have to remove you to make room for other learners.
