About

Hi! I'm Dylan, and I'm looking forward to helping you succeed on the Math SAT this March! I LOVE math, and over the years I have mastered all the mathematical concepts that appear on the SAT. I will help you break down difficult problems into a series of simple, intuitive steps. In addition, I know that time pressure can be a big obstacle, so I will always guide you to the speediest solution.

I have prior experience teaching a math class as well as tutoring students 1 on 1.

Besides math, I really love exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and running.

My personality is quite enthusiastic (especially when it comes to math). I hope my passion for math will make bootcamp as engaging as possible and will help you ace the SAT! 😀

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

I'm a high school junior who really loves math. I've been doing extracurriculars in math since second grade, including teaching, being a TA, and tutoring. I have a deep understanding of the underlying mathematical concepts on the SAT, which helps me explain ideas clearly. Besides math, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and board games. I look forward to helping you improve on the SAT!
