About

Hello, my name is Ada, and I am really excited to help you guys on the SAT Math! I am looking forward to some great sessions of exploring math and testing strategies. 
﻿
This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello! I'm Ada, and I am a high schooler from the US. I'm mainly here to help tutor the math section of the SAT! I scored a 790 on the Math SAT and a 36 on the Math ACT. Some of my STEM classes I completed were AP Calculus BC and AP Chem. In my free time, I play violin, listen to music, and play with my cat! Through Schoolhouse, I hope I can learn, help others learn, and meet new people!

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of two Focus Skills in the Geometry & Trigonometry Domain.
