About

Hi everyone! My name is Tara, and I am an SAT tutor on Schoolhouse. I am really looking forward to meeting you and helping you learn while also learning more from you all. As a student myself, I understand the importance of tutoring and the impact in can have in your own understanding- when you see the way others go about solving certain problems. I took the December SAT in 2021, so I still have many tips on how to accurately and efficiently solve different types of SAT Math problems. Also, with enough practice, I fully believe you will be able to crack the Math section and improve your score throughout the weeks! In each session, we will do many practice SAT Math questions from previous exams and we will go over any questions you might have on them. Additionally, if anyone has difficulty with a certain topic, we will go over that and I will prepare questions surrounding that topic to build confidence in that area. Sessions will also be interactive and students will work together to help each other improve their skills. By the end of the three weeks, we will have done multiple practice questions and gone through specific questions which students have had difficulty with before, to prepare you for the SAT Math section.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please try not to miss more than one session over the three weeks as each session will be beneficial towards your growth and learning. However, if something comes up, please notify me ahead of time.
