About

Hello everyone, my name is Jenna (she/her), and I am very excited to be tutoring you all here on Schoolhouse! In this series, we will be meeting 8 times over the course of 4 weeks to prepare for the March 2024 SAT. If you ever need to miss a session, please message me privately to let me know. Please be advised that our sessions are unable to go overtime, and that if you have questions outside of our Zoom calls, you must privately message me on Schoolhouse only. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to work with you! 😊

What you can expect from me:
1) I will ALWAYS be respectful of you. No matter what.
2) Do not be afraid to talk or show your face in our calls! I am more than willing to answer questions and engage with you. However, I totally understand if you are uncomfortable. In that case, use the chat feature!
3) I will respond to all questions as soon as my schedule allows. During the week, I'm pretty busy with schoolwork, but expect my response time to be very fast on the weekends.
4) If I ever need to cancel or postpone a session, I will always let everyone know in advance and apologize.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

Hello everyone! My name is Jenna (she/her), and I am a high school student from Pennsylvania here to help tutor others in preparation for the SAT. I received a 99th percentile score on my own test, and seek to help fellow students succeed in the SAT. Achieving a higher score is possible with extra practice, and I would love to be a part of your journey as you seek to improve your understanding of English and math!
