About

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

My name is Marcus. I am a Freshman at Duke University (Campus in China). I love brain teaser tests like the SAT and ACT, and I am excited to be able to tutor students to enjoy and excel in test-taking. I got a 1560 on the SAT, with an 800 in Math and 760 in Reading. I am also passionate about studying Mandarin, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. It is my dream to become an International Lawyer. In terms of fun activities, I love to play volleyball (court and beach), ping pong and watch Anime. I am also passionate about volunteering with my therapy dog and promoting the mission of Bonafide Therapy Dogs non-profit organization. I enjoy learning about global cultures with a focus on East Asia. I like to promote unity in diversity and I started a special program in my high school to raise awareness about the benefits of diversity and how we can all connect to grow to make the world a better place.
