About

Hi! I'm Josh, an A+ Calculus student and 5-scorer on the AP Calc exam. Welcome to this AP Calculus study group! We'll be going through the AP Calculus curriculum week by week, starting with limits and continuity and ending with applications of integration. We'll be learning together for two hours every Sunday night, practicing old FRQs and AP exam problems.

Mon 9:45 PM - 10:45 PM UTCNov 13, 9:45 PM - 10:45 PM UTC

Today we're going to try something a bit different: last week I tried doing some one-on-one tutoring with people around individual questions; this week I'm going to try teaching a straightforward lesson in Calculus. At this point in the AB Curriculum, you're probably up to the most complex aspects of differentiation: optimization and related rates. I'll be teaching about how to solve those problems today. I hope you can come and enjoy!

Mon 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM UTCNov 20, 12:00 AM - 1:00 AM UTC

After having gone over the most complex aspects of differentiation last session (i.e. optimization), today I either want to finish off with that and do a unit test with some really challenging problems, or go onto the next major topic in calculus: integration. Let me know what you'd prefer by joining our session at 7 pm EST today!

After some time for people to ask questions about specific topics, we'll continue with learning about basic integration/anti-differentiation, the process of evaluating integrals. Always remember to +C!
