We will explore a variety of themes in literature with the intent the strengthen our literary analysis skills. The session will typically begin with a discussion then a planning session to construct a defensible thesis. Suited for preparation for the AP English exams or any other English class/course. The books we will discuss are paired. Even if you have not read one or both of them you can join in on the sessions. I would suggest reading a quick summary of the book beforehand, but it would be good practice for exams where you are tested on analysis for a book you have not properly examined.
